Nick Shantos

Design Architect

Nick graduated from Canterbury School of Architecture with a BArch (Hons) Degree and a postgraduate Diploma in Architecture in 1988. He began his career in Glasgow for TM Miller & Partners. After a brief spell at Akis Charalambous Partnership in 1991 he worked in London for GMW-Architects as an Associate for 12years before he rejoined the Partnership in 2005 as a Partner.

This international experience is reflected in a broad spectrum of work both in building typology and geographical location. The range of projects includes international bank headquarters, airports, railway stations, universities and major commercial developments in London and throughout Europe.

Nick is responsible for the design of large commercial projects within the practice and utilizes a variety of software packages to communicate design concepts and convey the projects’ architectural expression. He is a member of the Cyprus Architects Association and the Technical Chamber of Cyprus.
